Small intestinal nematodes of ruminants: | Order: Strongylida (GIT strongyles) | Superfamily: Trichostrongyloidea | Family: Trichostrongylidae
Male. Long and slender spicules with posteriorly fused tips.
 
Female. Uterus containing numerous large eggs which are two to three times bigger than typical strongyle eggs.
Hosts: Sheep, goats, cattle.
Location: Small intestine.
