The colourless (hyaline) mycelium is seen at the periphery of the colony. The central part of the colony is green due to the presence of conidia.
Conidiophores with a vesicle and covered with conidial chains in a radiating arrangement.
 
Aspergillus belongs to the Fungi imperfecti. Asexual reproduction by conidia.
