Medium sized, greyish colonies with a glistening surface. They have an entire margin, are circular and their elevation varies from convex to slightly pulvinate.

This cultured has been incubated anaerobically.
The same Blood Agar plate examined with transmitted light. There is no alteration of the blood.
 
 
 
General characteristics: Gram-positve cocci. Catalase- and oxidase-negative. Does not attack sugars. Obligately anaerobic. Non-motile.
