Medium sized, mucoid colonies. The colonies have a distinctive odour.
The same Blood Agar plate examined with transmitted light. There is no haemolysis.
General characteristics: Gram-negative rods. Catalase- and oxidase-positive. Attacks sugars fermentatively. Non-motile.
