Lecithinase Test Lecithinase Test
Positive reaction: Bacillus cereus
Negative reaction: Bacillus sphaericus
This test is used to determine whether an organism produces lecithinase. On agar containing lecitho-vitellin colonies producing lecithinase will be surrounded by zones of opalescence.
